I am a lawyer and legal anthropologist with a Ph.D. in socio-cultural anthropology from the University of Florida. My teaching and research experience in academic higher institutions both in Ethiopia and the United States has helped me to provide a practical and globally informed mentorship. I advise students/mentees interested in the areas of Business and Corporate Law, International Trade Law, Tax Law, and Real Estate Law. I also advise in subfields of political, economic, and legal anthropology. I am excited to share my perspectives with prospective social scientists and help them connect with professional networks and resources crucial for their success.
