I earned a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University in 2013 and have extensive experience applying remote sensing to natural resources modeling and monitoring. Earlier in my career, I served on the faculty at Bahir Dar University, where I taught undergraduate and graduate students in Ethiopia. As a mentor, I look forward to connecting with visionary and ambitious graduate students and early-career researchers, supporting them as they advance their education, research, and professional development.
